Child Safety Standards
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Planthead is operated by MB Augalistas (registration number 307961595, Girulių g. 10-201, Vilnius, LT-12112, Lithuania). We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual exploitation or abuse (CSEA) on our platform. This page sets out our standards and the ways you can report concerns to us.
Our commitment
Planthead is a social app for plant lovers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly allow child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualisation of minors, or any content or behaviour that endangers children. Any such content or conduct is prohibited and will be removed, and the offending account permanently banned.
Prohibited content and behaviour
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form, real, generated, or drawn.
- Sexualisation of minors, including suggestive imagery, captions, or comments.
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexual advances toward minors.
- Sharing personal information of minors that could put them at risk.
- Coordinated attempts to contact, exploit, or harm children.
How we prevent and detect abuse
- Community reporting — every post, comment, and profile has a report button. Reports are reviewed by our team.
- Human moderation — flagged content is reviewed and actioned; severe violations result in immediate removal and account termination.
- Account controls — users can block, mute, and set profiles to private.
- Age policy — Planthead is not directed to children under 13, and under 16 in jurisdictions with a higher age of digital consent. Accounts we believe belong to children below the applicable age are removed.
How to report a concern
If you encounter content or behaviour on Planthead that endangers a child, please report it immediately:
- Use the in-app report button on the offending content or profile.
- Email us at marius@planthead.app with the subject line "Child safety". Include links, usernames, and any relevant context. Do not include or forward the abusive material itself.
We aim to acknowledge child-safety reports within 24 hours and act on confirmed violations as quickly as possible.
Reporting to authorities
When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material or an imminent threat to a child, we report it to the appropriate authorities and preserve relevant data as required by law. In the EU, this includes cooperating with national law-enforcement and hotlines that are part of the INHOPE network.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report child sexual abuse material directly to:
- NCMEC CyberTipline (US, worldwide reports accepted) — report.cybertip.org
- INHOPE hotlines (find your local hotline) — inhope.org/EN/report
